Another Generous Community Donation!!
Wednesday, December 16, 2015

The SFD would like to thank Merry Stimis of Shore Bank and Will Braxton of Lowes of Salisbury for their kind donation of 39 new smoke alarms.  Shore Bank provided the funding, while Lowes provided the smoke alarms at a reduced rate.  Smoke alarms are an important tool in the battle against lives lost in fires.  These devices will be distributed to occupants of the SFD fire district who don not currently have operating smoke alarms in an effort to ensure each home within the district has a working smoke alarm/early warning device.

Community helping the community is what it's all about.  The SFD appreciates the efforts of local donators, such as Shore Bank and Lowes, who commit to the well-being and safety of those who are in need.  If you live within the SFD fire/EMS district, and are in need of a smoke alarm, please contact the department at 410.548.3120 to request one.
