Salisbury Fire Department

Members from the Salisbury Fire Department journeyed to our nation's capital Monday morning to present a donation to the Wounded Warriors Project headquarters.  The donation was an accumulation of the proceeds gathered from members purchasing their red shirts for the RED (Remember Everyone Deployed) Initiative for the Wounded Warriors Project along with other donations made from members in the department and surrounding community.  Members working in the Wounded Warriors Project Office were generous enough to give SFD members a thorough tour of the facility and show some of the services and programs they provide for our veterans day in and day out.  The experience was extremely uplifting and most importantly reminds us all to remember everyone deployed!
