Salisbury Fire Department

The Salisbury Fire Department 2 E shift participated in a Cystic Fibrosis walk on Sunday, May 18th at Pemberton Historic Park.  We are proud to announce our team "Truck Yeah" raised $1,112 for Cystic Fibrosis research.  Amazingly enough this all started with $5 that was given to a cashier by an anonymous citizen to help pay for our lunches at a local eatery.  We turned that $5 into much more than we ever thought it would be, and I'm sure the anonymous woman that donated to us would be happy to know that she started a snowball effect that will help many children grow to be an adult and to live a longer more productive life.  After all isn't that what we are all here for?  Also a special thanks to all that donated and the friendly competition from all shifts that sparked more to donate.
