Salisbury Fire Department

Around 1630 hours station 16 was alert for a haz-mat spill in the area of Nanticoke Rd. and Parsons Rd. Engine 16 arrived and found a 110 gallon chemical spray tank over turned on the ground spilling its contents. The crew from engine 16 quickly identified the product and started diking the area to contain the run off. Haz-mat 1 arrived and assited the crew from 16 with containment. Crews remained on scene for some time cleaning up the spill. A/C 1 (Donaway) had command. Additional Units that responded: WEMA, SHA, MSP, Public Works
