Salisbury Fire Department

Around 2300 hours the SFD was dispatched to a motor vehicle crash car reported into a pole. SFD units arrived and confirmed one vehicle into a pole with wires down and one person trapped in the vehicle. After the power company arrived and confirmed the lines were de-energized, SFD units worked on extricating the subject from the vehicle and transported him to PRMC. Despite the efforts of SFD EMS the patient succumbed to his injuries.
