Salisbury Fire Department

At 1859 hrs, Station 1, 16 and 6 were alerted doe a reported house fire at 5305 Countryside Ct. ET1-1 arrived on location with smoke showing and crews led by Captain Lewis, deployed 1 ¾ attack lines Side A. Tk-1 arrived on location, took the A/B Corner, placed aerial in service, controlled utilities and began searches. AC-1 (O’Barsky) arrived on scene, established Countryside Ct. Command. The fire was contained to the C/D corner kitchen area. Additional crews from on scene assisted in salvage/overhaul operations and ground ladder placement. Fire determined to be caused by unattended cooking.
