Shortly there after, Engine 16 arrived along with 5-19(Parker) assuming command with a single story wood frame rancher, with fire from sides A and D and fire partially through the roof above the garage. The crew from 16 split, deploying both front bumper lines. With the fire well involved in the attic, both linemen started at opposing ends of the house and drug straight stream patterns down the front eve of the house putting a good knock on the fire. At this time Engine Tanker 5 arrived and they pulled their front bumper line and both 16 and 5 began an interior attack on the fire. Engine Tanker 12 arrived and their crew pulled a back up line and ventilated accordingly. Crews began opening up the ceiling and searching for an access for the attic. eventually crews did gain access and extinguished the remaing fire. call was brought under control at 1935.
