Station 1 25th Anniversary Open House & Banquet - Station 1
Saturday, April 9, 2011

Station 1 recently celebrated 25 years of service to the community at their Beaglin Park Drive location with an open house followed by a banquet. The open house was held on Saturday, April 9th, with many in attendance including Sparky the Fire Dog, Smokey the Bear and even McGruff the Crime Dog, to the delight of many young children! Tours, demonstrations, displays, give aways, safety tips, free food and fellowship were abundant as firefighters proudly showed off their equipment and station to those who came to visit. The follwing week, a banquet was held for the members of Station 1, past and present. Firefighters and members of the Ladies' Auxiliary gathered to reminisce and celebrate 25 wonderful years of service to the citizens of Salisbury. Congratulations to all the members, past and present, of Station #1, for a job well done!
