Salisbury Fire Department

Shortly before 2300 hours the Salisbury, Hebron, and Delmar FD's were alerted for a commercial building fire just down the street from Fire Station 16.  AC-1 observed smoked in the air when he left the station and quickly arrived on location, confirming a working fire in a large auto repair shop.  E16 arrived and established a water supply and advanced two handlines into the structure.  Truck 2 arrived and assited with forcible entry, opening up, and setting ladders.  E1 arrived and secured a second water supply and advanced their line to the fire as well.  Sta. 5 and Sta 74 units arrived and assisted with interior and roof operations.  Delmarva Power and the State Fire Marshal were both requested to the scene.  The cause is under investigation at this time.  No injuries were reported.  Crews cleared just before 2am.
