Truck 2 Goes To Delmar For A House Fire
Thursday, June 2, 2016

Truck 2 was alerted on the initial dispatch to assist Delmar and Hebron on a house fire. Units were sent to 304 E. Elizabeth St in the town of Delmar, with multiple calls reporting a house on fire. Truck 2 and Engine 74-3 arrived nose to nose, with smoke showing from side A and went to work. The truck placed ground ladders to sides A,B and D, ventilated accordingly before the officer and can man entered the house to locate the fire and search for anyone still inside. The crew from 74 placed their front bumper line in service and extinguished the fire in quich fashion. Fire was located in a middle halway, extending from a bathroom and washroom. Engine 507 from Hebron arrived and stretched a line up the exterior stairs to the upstairs appartment to check for extension. Searches proved negative and extension was limited. The incident was held with the units on scene and command released units a short time later
