Salisbury Fire Department

Last July 8, 2016 the SFD responded to a house fire on Log Cabin Road. Crews rescued a Pit Bull from the house and quickly gave the unconscious dog oxygen via Pet Oxygen Mask previously donated by the Salisbury Kennel Club. On August 19, 2017 Acting Lieutenant Michael Carbaugh spoke to the Salisbury Kennel Club on the importance of having the Pet Oxygen Masks on emergency equipment and represented the SFD accepting additional Pet Oxygen Masks as a donation by the Salisbury Kennel Club Charitable Trust. The masks are currently located on AC1 and AC2 as the first due command vehicles responding to emergency events.
