Salisbury Fire Department

All three stations were alerted for a reported house on fire in the "reservation" section of town. The engine from 16 responded with 6 personnel and arrived to find a single story "shotgun" style duplex, with smoke from side A. The lineman stretched the front bumper line to the front door, as his back up man forced in. The crew encountered a fire in the front living room and extinguished the same. The ladder truck from station 2 arrived and secured the utilities to the house. The engine crew popped several walls to verify there was no extension. The incident was placed under control within 15 min and units began returning to service shortly thereafter .
